About Diana Enab

Diana Enab is a RIBA-accredited architect with a growing multidisciplinary profile shaped by experience in academia, research, and collaborative urban projects. She began her journey with a foundation year in design at the American University of Sharjah (2015), later earning a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Abu Dhabi University (2021) and a Master’s degree from An-Najah National University (2024). With a strong grounding in architectural design, Diana’s work often explores the intersection of social realities, spatial resilience, and innovation. Her studio project Wallucture earned her the WA Awards 10+5+X in its 34th Cycle (2021) for reimagining infrastructural architecture within contemporary and waterfront contexts. Her collaborative proposal Port Pop-ups for Reviving Gaza received first prize from the Union of Mediterranean Architects (UMAR) in 2024.

Diana has shared her passion for design through teaching roles at An-Najah National University and the Palestinian Technical University-Kadoorie, guiding students in design studios, architectural drawing, and CAAD courses.

Diana received the DAAD scholarship in 2025 and she is currently a PhD candidate at RWTH Aachen University, under the Chair of Urban Design and the Institute of Urban Design and European Urbanism. Her thesis focuses on rethinking urban resilience through the lens of the 15-minute city model,

particularly in contexts where traditional planning methods face social and political challenges, such as Palestine.

In parallel, her research investigates the use of digital tools and experimental methods to test spatial configurations and their social implications, always aiming to bridge design with real-world impact. She believes in architecture as a tool for inclusive urban transformation-one that empowers communities and adapts to the evolving realities of contemporary cities.
