Aida Camp, located at the edge of Bethlehem, is shaped by spatial restriction and long-term displacement. Through research and fieldwork, it becomes clear that the community has developed its own spatial logic based on cooperation, adaptation, and everyday resilience.

Rooftops and in-between spaces are not secondary; they are essential systems of living, where resources are shared, and social ties are maintained. This project builds on these existing practices. Using local and reused materials, and working with the vertical reality of the camp, it proposes a system that supports what already exists rather than replacing it.

The project develops as a network of rooftop spaces, each responding to everyday needs such as food production, learning, gathering, and small-scale economies. These spaces are connected into a larger system that strengthens mobility, cooperation, and social life. Rather than introducing a new model, the project reinforces existing practices supporting resilience from within the community itself.
