Ramy Bawadi is a Sustainable Management Specialist with a background in landscape architecture, regenerative agriculture, and business development. He works as Project Coordinator at the Shouf Biosphere Reserve, where he leads integrated initiatives in sustainable land and water management, ecological restoration, and community development, bridging policy, science, and grassroots action. Ramy is also an entrepreneur and consultant, managing farms and advising on hydroponics, aquaponics, and agroecological systems to help rural communities adopt circular, regenerative practices that strengthen food security and climate resilience. Among his most notable achievements are contributing to Asia’s first River Contract through the ASMed project and guiding the Reserve’s accession to the International Model Forest Network. Ramy is deeply committed to environmental justice and the pursuit of long-term sustainability.
